Lion O'Brien

Lion O'Brien

This new, unsigned British pop band are definitely worth listening and yet another band to look out for in the near future. This band incorporates catchy and infectious tunes with well thought out lyrics to create a combination soothing to the ear. Lion O’Brien write songs about whatever takes their fancy yet still seem to capture their listeners. The Band are currently touring around the UK playing gigs wherever they come. Lion O’Brien’s song “Raincloud vs. Sunshine” shows the bands potential and delivers a dance-worthy beat that makes this song impossibe to dislike. Lion O’Brien have gone on to show they are not a one trick pony by creating the song “This Life” which incorporates a lively beat with clever riffs once again making it worthy of a dance. Although an album has not been released please feel free to e-mail me and I will let you know whenever I hear anything, enjoy.

The Adventures of Stacey and her Pogo Stick

The Adventures Of Stacy And Her Pogo Stick

The Adventures Of Stacy And Her Pogo Stick

This new and upcoming band are currently unsigned yet have topped the unsigned charts with their original sound. Although I did not take immidiate liking to this British electro group, the sound started to grow on me and I felt inclined to listen to the song again and again. The repetetive sound of the song will send any listener into a mellow mindstate. Although unsigned this band shows great potential and is definitely one to watch. The band is made up of two artists; singer Tim Marshall and Music producer Ben Daniels. The song “Don’t Tell Me”, which is seen below, was recorded entirely in Daniels bedroom.

Plain White T’s-Big Bad World

Plain White T's

Plain White T's

Plain White T’s have released an incredible album for Christmas this year that will put a smile on any listeners face. No one should wait for a special occasion to snatch this bargain up with its soft rock sound and catchy tunes. It has been dubbed the “Album to look out for” as well as the “Best Christmas release”. The album includes songs such as “1, 2, 3, 4”, “Big Bad World” and “Natural Disaster”. Each song on the album brings something different and exciting to the table making the album unbearably addictive. I will admit this band has proven me wrong as I thought this band was a one hit wonder, however, with an album like this I have to take it back. Plain White T’s will continue to make incredible albums such as this, although, until the next is released this is a one-to-get.

Leon Jackson

Since winning the X-Factor last year, no one has really heard of Leon Jackson’s progress…until now. Leon has released a stunning new single creative. “Creative” is a jazzy new song which incorporates and orchestra and back up singers that make it complete. Leon’s voice has definitely matured since he last wowed the X-Factor judges back in 2007. His low smooth voice would be very welcome at a Christmas party or whilst opening presents on Christmas day. Although my expectations of this single were very low, I must say I myself am very impressed and would recommend this single to anyone whose present CD stack isn’t quite big enough.
